Hi sweetheart,

Funny idea this conference on Europe – so far from you! But the hotel is wonderfully located near the Parc Monceau… I can go running in the park every morning. I’ll also be running around the Department Stores – for the jewellers on the rue de la Paix I’ll wait till we come back together! I’m also being a culture-vulture: a dance show at the old Opera House, a concert at l’Olympia. I’ve found a wonderful little shop where they sell hand-made violins – a great place to go to replace your old one. I could get used to life in Paris!
