Palais de la Découverte
Situated in the west wing of the Grand Palais, the Palais de la Découverte (Palace of the Discovery) was created at the end of the 1930’s by the famous physicist Jean Perrin. He was convinced that science could be put within the reach of all thanks to practice.
The youngest and the oldest bustle in this science museum to test the different experients. Among the most popular are those dedicated to electrostatics which can raise hair to stand up on your head.
This great place for science also offers many workshops where everybody, accordingl to his level, can deepen his knowledge in the different fields of chemistry, physics, mathematics, life sciences, astronomy…
