A little message on a postcard

Dear Mum and Dad,

It was such a great idea to give us this trip to Paris! The hotel is ideally situated right next to Pigalle… but it’s so quiet too, our room overlooks an inside patio. We’re going out every night, to local theatres, clubs and cabarets… Tomorrow we’re off to the Moulin Rouge after treating ourselves to a great big seafood platter! We’ll also be taking in the Sacré-Cœur and the big Parisian department stores: they’re just down the rue des Martyrs, a short walk or self-service bike ride away. We’re also planning to visit the Opera House – I can’t wait to see the wonderful ceiling painted by Chagall!
