Accessibility declaration
ACCESSIBILITY DECLARATION FOR THE WWW.TIMHOTEL.COM
The purpose of this note is to define two concrete measures to be implemented on the www.timhotel.com website in order to meet digital accessibility requirements and secure TIMHOTEL's position with regard to its legal obligations.
- First measure: creation of a dedicated "Accessibility" page
A specific "Accessibility Declaration" page must be created on the site (for example at the URL www.timhotel.com/accessibilite).
this page will contain the full accessibility declaration, as set out below.
It will give a detailed description of the state of compliance of the site, the main non-conformities identified, the action plan undertaken and the means of recourse available to users. This page will be the official reference in the event of an inspection or complaint by a user.
- Second measure: addition of a permanent link in the footer
An "Accessibility" link should be added to the footer of the entire site.
this link will go to the dedicated page described above and will be accompanied by a short information text ("Accessibility: the www.timhotel.com website is not currently compliant and is currently being improved. To find out more, please consult our accessibility statement"). This statement will provide users with simple, visible and constant information, while publicly documenting the steps taken by TIMHOTEL.
DECLARATION OF ACCESSIBILITY OF THE WWW.TIMHOTEL.COM
TIMHOTEL undertakes to make its website accessible in accordance with current regulations.
This declaration of accessibility applies to the www.timhotel.com website .
COMPLIANCE STATUS
The www.timhote l.com website does not comply with current accessibility standards.
The audit carried out in March 2026 highlighted several non-compliances with regard to the criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
TEST RESULTS
The accessibility of the site was evaluated in March 2026 by an independent external service provider, on the basis of :
- a representative sample of pages (home page, hotel pages, category pages, content pages, booking forms) ;
- automatic tests and manual checks;
- a check against WCAG 2.1 level AA criteria.
The main findings are as follows:
- Navigation and structure
- Absence of a breadcrumb trail, making it difficult to understand the structure and navigate using the keyboard.
- The hierarchy of headings is sometimes incorrect or incomplete.
- Some navigation elements are not accessible or not clearly identifiable for assistive technologies.
- Contrast and legibility
- Insufficient colour contrast for certain texts and interface elements, not complying with the required ratios.
- Insufficient font size and line spacing on certain media or resolutions.
- Keyboard and focus
- Incomplete keyboard navigation on certain pages and components (menus, forms, booking functions).
- Focus management sometimes lacking when opening windows or dynamic elements.
- Images, media and text alternatives
- Numerous images without alternative text or with unsuitable alternative text.
- Essential visual content not rendered in text.
- Lack of subtitles for some multimedia content.
- Interactive components and ARIA
- Some dynamic components (menus, tabs, sliders) without appropriate ARIA markup.
- Error or success messages not systematically announced to assistive technologies.
- Performance and loading times
- Long page loading times, which may affect access to content for certain users (slow connection, cognitive disability, assistive devices).
CONTENT NOT ACCESSIBLE
The content and functionalities listed below are not accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance
- No breadcrumb trail on all pages.
- Insufficient contrast for certain texts, buttons and links.
- Incomplete keyboard navigation in certain sections (menus, forms, booking functions).
- Absence or inadequacy of relevant alternative text on many images.
- Page structure and title hierarchy not compliant with certain WCAG 2.1 criteria.
- Failure to systematically take account of assistive technologies on certain interactive components.
- Excessive loading times on several types of pages.
Content excluded from the scope of application
Certain third-party content integrated into the site (widgets, iframes or external modules supplied by service providers) may not be fully compliant. To this extent, TIMHOTEL does not have full control over accessibility, but undertakes to give preference to more accessible solutions wherever possible.
ACTION PLAN AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
TIMHOTEL has embarked on a plan for the gradual compliance of the www.timhotel.com website , structured around the following areas:
- improving page structure (headings, breadcrumb trail, navigation) ;
- optimising contrast and legibility;
- improving keyboard navigation and focus management;
- addition and improvement of alternative texts for images and visual content;
- better integration of assistive technologies in interactive components;
