Arab World Institute in Paris (IMA)
As the only institution of its kind in Europe, the Institut du monde arabe, ("Institute of the Arab World")was established to be a bridge between France and the Arab and Muslim cultures.
. Financed by the French government and 22 Arab countries it meets a triple objective: to deepen knowledge of the Arab world in France; promote cultural exchanges; strengthen Franco-Arabic cooperation.
Established in a magnificent setting designed by Jean Nouvel, the IMA is home to a museum, temporary exhibition rooms, shops, including a rich bookshop, conference halls, an auditorium, and even a restaurant with an amazing view over Paris.
