Montmartre: will dazzle your eyes, dazzle your heart

Montmartre, is a breathtaking panorama over all of Paris. It is of course the Sacré-Coeur and the history of the Commune. But in this area there is also an abundance of places a bit less known. The theatre des Abbesses, the Chat Noir or le Lapin Agile will take you into the Paris of the beginning of the century, as well as the Cabaret of Patachou where Brassens and Piaf sang. You will also not miss tasting one of the small wines of Montmartre, since vines are cultivated there, for example rue Saint-Vincent. 

If you like art, you will explore the small squares du Tertre and of course Émile-Goudeau,  famous for his Bateau-Lavoir where you will follow the steps of Maufra, Gauguin, Picasso, Van Dongen, Gris, Brancusi, Modigliani or of the Douanier Rousseau. And you will discover, at the Montmartre museum, the paintings of the most famous masters of the places, including Renoir, before stopping at the not to be ignored Espace Dali. 

At the cabaret! 

Paris would not be Paris without its countless cabarets. At the end of the 19th century, the aim of these cafés with live music was, during one evening, to abolish the social frontiers. The Blanche district was full of these mythical place immortalised in particular by Toulouse-Lautrec. If these stages still exist, some have become today renowned cafés-theatres. La Cible, le Bout, the Théâtre Pigalle, l'Antre magique, the Carré blanc or yet l'Orphée or la Farandole perpetuate this tradition in the area by offering a show practically every evening. In addition to the conviviality of this formula, the atmosphere of these evenings will allow you to always have a good time there. Take the plunge to enjoy a very Parisian artistic pleasure!
