Willy Ronis by Willy Ronis, exhibition

28/04/2018 - 29/09/2018

A major photographer celebrated.

Willy Ronis is especially interested in the daily lives of people. That is why he is considered one of the great figures of so-called "humanist" photography.
His photographs are an intimate and profound portrait of his time, revealing both its beauty and its harshness.
A talented photographer, Willy Ronis received the Grand Prix National des Arts et des Lettres in 1979.

This exhibition consists of photographs taken from the albums that were part of a donation of his work that he made to the French State in 1983. These albums were composed and selected by Willy Ronis himself. A true photographic testament in a way that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the universe of this great photographer.
